About this service

What's involved.

Woodwork is what shows wear first — kicks at skirting, knocks at architrave, hands on door faces. A proper repaint pulls everything back to a consistent sheen rather than the patchy mix that builds up from spot touch-ups.

We use low-VOC waterborne systems — Tikkurila Helmi 30 and Dulux Diamond Satinwood are typical specs — recoatable same day with no solvent smell in the house overnight.

We work across Sutton Coldfield, Four Oaks, Mere Green, Little Aston, Lichfield, Tamworth, Birmingham, Solihull and surrounding areas.

  • Skirting and architrave
  • Internal doors and frames
  • Window boards and reveals
  • Banister rails and stringer
  • Cabinetry and fitted joinery

FAQs

Common questions.

Will gloss white come back through new paint?+

Old gloss needs proper sanding and adhesion priming, otherwise yes it can ghost. We sand and prime as standard.

Eggshell or satin?+

Eggshell for a calmer modern look; satin for slightly more sheen and a touch more durability. We'll recommend per room.

How long between coats?+

Same day with waterborne systems — typically two coats per surface in a day.
