About this service

What's involved.

Timber fascia is repaintable for decades if it's done properly. We only recommend replacing where the timber is genuinely beyond repair — UPVC swap-outs are a separate job.

Repaints get hot-air stripped, splice repairs where needed, and finished in Sikkens — same spec as exterior joinery and sash windows.

We work across Sutton Coldfield, Four Oaks, Mere Green, Little Aston, Lichfield, Tamworth, Birmingham, Solihull and surrounding areas.

  • Hot-air strip back to sound timber
  • Splice repairs in Repaircare
  • Sikkens primer + two topcoats
  • Working at height with proper access
  • Gutters cleared as part of the works

FAQs

Common questions.

Should I switch to UPVC instead?+

Not always. Original timber properly repainted lasts decades and looks correct on period houses. We'll give an honest assessment.

Do you do this at height?+

Yes — with scaffolding or tower access; never bridged ladders.

How long does it last?+

8–10 years on a Sikkens spec, longer on shaded elevations.
