What's involved.
Timber fascia is repaintable for decades if it's done properly. We only recommend replacing where the timber is genuinely beyond repair — UPVC swap-outs are a separate job.
Repaints get hot-air stripped, splice repairs where needed, and finished in Sikkens — same spec as exterior joinery and sash windows.

Not always. Original timber properly repainted lasts decades and looks correct on period houses. We'll give an honest assessment.
Do you do this at height?+
Yes — with scaffolding or tower access; never bridged ladders.
How long does it last?+
8–10 years on a Sikkens spec, longer on shaded elevations.
