Four Oaks Painting & Decorating completed a full interior redecoration project at this 4 bedroom house in Tamworth, carrying out a high-quality combination of spray finishing, brush and roller wall painting, ceiling spraying and water-based satin woodwork finishes.
The client wanted a clean, modern and durable finish throughout the property, with smooth ceilings, crisp white woodwork and hard-wearing wall finishes suitable for everyday family living.
This project included multiple rooms, hallway areas, stairs, landing, doors, skirting boards, ceilings and fitted interior woodwork.

Ceiling spraying
All ceilings throughout the property were sprayed to a finish, giving a clean, smooth and consistent result. Ceiling spraying is ideal on full-house decorating projects because it produces an even coating and helps achieve a more professional finish compared with standard roller application alone.

Bedroom with half-height panelling
Bedroom featuring half-height wall panelling finished in a complementary grey tone, with crisp white ceiling, woodwork and skirting. The combination of sprayed ceilings and satin woodwork creates a sharp, contemporary appearance.

Bedroom with full-height panelled feature wall sprayed in a muted grey, contrasting against the off-white walls and crisp white satin woodwork. Spray finishing the panelling achieves a furniture-grade smoothness impossible with brush and roller alone.

All areas were carefully protected using masking, floor coverings and dust control methods. Woodwork was prepared properly, including sanding, filling, caulking and spot priming where required. Ceilings were also prepared before being sprayed, helping create a consistent finish across the property.
Finish details
Walls were finished by brush and roller using Johnstone's acrylic durable matt — a great option for busy homes offering improved durability compared with standard contract matt. All internal woodwork was spray finished using a water-based satin, giving a clean and durable result with a modern sheen level.
