What's involved.
Commercial exterior work has to hold up to weather, sightlines from the street and scrutiny from residents or occupiers. We prepare properly — stabilising chalky masonry, cutting out failed render, treating timber and priming metalwork — before topcoating with systems chosen for the substrate and exposure.
Access is planned before we quote. Depending on the building we work off tower scaffold, full scaffold or MEWPs, with RAMS shared in advance and the site kept tidy between visits so common areas and car parks stay usable.

How the work runs.
Site survey
We walk the elevations, identify problem areas — cracked render, failing sealant, tired timber, rusting metalwork — and agree the access strategy.
Access & protection
Scaffold or MEWPs booked, resident notices coordinated with the managing agent, ground protection laid before any work starts.
Preparation
Loose paint removed, render repairs, timber sanded and primed, metalwork treated for rust. This is the bit that decides the lifespan.
Topcoat systems
Weather-resistant masonry paint on render, exterior wood systems on timber, oil-based metalwork systems where suitable. Colours agreed with owner or agent.
Handover
Snags walked with the client, elevations photographed, invoice and full spec issued for records.
