What's involved.
The trick with staircase panelling is the rake — the lower edge has to track the line of the stairs without looking forced. We set out the panel grid so vertical stiles stay plumb and the bottom rail follows the stair string cleanly.
Most clients combine staircase panelling with a wider staircase refurbishment — sprayed spindles, painted handrail, new runner — so the whole flight reads as one piece of work.
